Lyocell + cotton: the perfect blend for a good night’s sleep
Lyocell and cotton are ideal bedtime companions. A fibre made from wood, lyocell doesn’t need large amounts of water, pesticides or fertilisers to grow. When you blend it with cotton, like we’ve done with ULLVIDE sheets and pillowcases, sleep gets super comfortable. These two materials absorb and transport moisture away from the body so you can rest easy at night.

No bunched-up sheets
A fitted sheet has elastic edging all around that makes it stay in place on the bed. This way, you won't be disturbed by a sheet that tangles and bunches up during the night. You'll find it easier to get a good night's sleep - and your bed will look tidier too!

What is cotton?
Cotton is one of the world's most appreciated and used natural fibres. Textiles in cotton are soft, hardwearing and can be washed at high temperatures. They are also good at breathing and absorbing moisture – making them pleasant to wear close to the body. Today at IKEA we use more and more recycled cotton and strive to make sure that all the new cotton we use has been grown and produced with less and less amounts of pesticides, fertilisers and water.
